Local Ocean Creatives, LLC is a locally owned and operated small business based in Melbourne Beach, Florida. Founded by artist Carrie Wilson, the studio was created from a lifelong love of art, storytelling, and connection through creativity.

Before launching Local Ocean Creatives, Carrie, a Florida native, spent fifteen years in South Florida as a Graphic Designer, Creative Director, and Client Services Manager, working on projects that ranged from logo and branding design to billboard campaigns and full website design and development. After moving to Melbourne Beach with her husband and son, she began using her creative background to support local schools and community events through art and design.

Painting has always been her first love. With a background in Fine Arts and a degree in Visual Communications from The Art Institute, Carrie rediscovered her passion for painting in 2025, leading to the creation of Local Ocean Creatives. Her work celebrates the color, movement, and tranquility of coastal life — inspired by the ocean and the vibrant community she calls home.

Through her original paintings and limited-edition prints, Carrie hopes to bring a sense of joy and connection to every space her art touches.
